Learning Objectives
Knowledge: The aim of the course is to provide the necessary familiarity with the the methods to analyze and characterize engineered nanomaterials in the environment and to assess their toxicological impact on the ecosystems and human health.
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: Applications and potential applications of selected nano materials in nano medicine will be illustrated. Toxicology evaluation procedure will be discussed.
Communicative skills: students acquire the ability to communicate knowledge, problems and solutions related to physicochemical characterization of nanomaterials and toxicity evaluation procedures.
Autonomy of judgment: Acquisition of expertise in nanotoxicology and evaluation of the analytical data.
